Living at Jesus College: Practical Information
There are numerous people available to support you during your time at Jesus College. Key teams that support the non-academic aspects of living here include:
The Lodge
The Lodge is the hub of Jesus College life. Open to College members 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, the Lodge team staff the reception desk, manage post and keys, and provide advice, assistance and support to students, staff, Fellows and visitors. The Lodge ensures that College remains a safe and secure environment for all its members. You can contact the team by calling 01865 279700 or emailing lodge@jesus.ox.ac.uk.
Accommodation, Catering and Conferences (DACC)
The DACC teams support the domestic needs of members of the College in all areas of catering, accommodation, housekeeping and events. The DACC is also responsible for the Health and Safety requirements of the College and oversees the College’s varied sports provision through the Amalgamated Clubs Committee. Information about TV Licences
All students must be aware that as of 1 September 2016 they will need a TV Licence to download or watch BBC programmes on demand, including catch up TV, on BBC iPlayer. This applies to any device and provider used.
A TV Licence is required to watch or record programmes on any channel as they are being shown on TV or live on an online TV service.
Jesus College does not have an over-arching TV licence so if you intend to watch any BBC content you must acquire your own TV licence. For further information please go to: http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-you-need-one/topics/bbc-iplayer-and-the-tv-licence
